Bring it 120 Precursor Orbs to get a Power Cell.īring the Oracle another 120 Orbs to get the second of his two Power Cells. ![]() Just use your double jump plus spin move to get a little extra distance to make these jumps without much of a problems. You'll have to make a series of big jumps out to it. The Oracle in Sandover Village is located in the area past the Yakows pen and towards the beach area. You will earn the Yee Haw! trophy for this. Just use Jak's spin move to hit them and make them go where you want them. There are a total of five Yakows that you must herd into the pen. He'll ask you to get the Yakows back into the corral. Take the bridge to the right after the first group of three houses and head past the Bird Lady's hut and down to the beach to talk to the guy that's sleeping in front of a house. He'll part with a Power Cell if you give him 90 Precursor Orbs. Jak's uncle lives in the furthest of the three huts that are in the group that you'll encounter when you're coming down from Samos' hut. If you bring him 90 Precursor Orbs to help him with his re-election campaign, he'll part with a Power Cell. The Mayor's hut is the first one you'll see on the left side of the path when you head down past the two bridges from Samos' hut. Ultimately, it was a lack of polish and innovation that kept The Getaway from leaving the PS2.Precursor Orbs: 50 Power Cells: 6 Scout Flies: 7 Black Monday keeps you in London barreling through the same type of missions with different characters. At least the GTA sequels put you in different locations. The game featured all new characters and storylines, feeling even more like a GTA ripoff than the first. Black Monday wasn't a bad game, it just failed to leave any lasting impression. The final nail in the series was its underwhelming sequel, Black Monday. This was a strength and a detriment as many were entering looking for a straight GTA clone and finding something more akin to a story-based game with open-world elements. The game plays out like a movie, eliminating any sort of HUD for the player and putting a large emphasis on cinematic elements. The Getaway has you playing through the events of a single day as both a criminal and a detective trying to hunt him down on the streets of London. The first game in the series is impressive if not a little derivative of GTA III. ![]() If the execution had been a bit better, we might be seeing sequels to The Getaway series being made today. The idea on paper sounds like a home run with the success of Grand Theft Auto 3 and Guy Ritchie crime films becoming mainstays in western culture. Team Soho developed The Getaway as a British open-world crime game similar to the Grand Theft Auto series. ![]()
